The work of a Fire Marshal is a conjunction of an investigator, inspector and among others jobs, a person who has adequate knowledge of the sciences. It is the fire marshal who is instrumental in the job of exploring and putting on paper the exact cause of the fire that may have caused havoc .
It is he who is responsible to determine the nature of action that might have triggered such a horrific event and if , on investigation , any human error is found out , then it is his job to take any authoratative action.
The work of a marshal involves challenges and has a certain complexity in its nature. It has the requirement of a specific set of skills which form a kind of inventory for the marshal. It is the presence of mind of the fire man that helps him in most of the situations. The job also requires a certai level of know-how about the architecture of a place, material of construction used etc.
This helps him to identify the effect of fire upon those. The skills of a fire marshal are further improved in the training school that he enrolls into.
Fire marshals can work both the govt, designated areas or in any sort of MNC. There are specific govt. Agencies that take into account the devastating effects of fire and employ and train the fire marshals to fight the menace.
